Immersion Language Courses

Speak, think, and live your new language 40+ hours a week with the Full-Immersion Program!

The fastest and easiest way to learn a new language is to eat, sleep, and drink it—that is, fully immerse yourself in listening to and speaking the language all day long. BridgeLanguages’ Full-Immersion Program in Denver is designed for those busy professionals and students who want to learn a foreign language as quickly as possible without leaving the US. Our most intensive program, Full-Immersion provides eight hours of language training per day with a private instructor. You’ll go on excursions, attend cultural activities, and even have lunch with your teacher, speaking the foreign language in an array of real-life situations. Full-Immersion training goes beyond the traditional language class to create an atmosphere that closely resembles being in a foreign country. Your program will include simulated business situations, role-play activities, interviews with native speakers, and extracurricular activities conducted in the new language. And it’s all conveniently available at our language school in Denver, CO!
Full-Immersion Highlights
  • Discuss current events using foreign language newspapers.
  • Gain insight into the culture, business practices, and society of your target country(s).
  • Simulate business meetings, participate in role-play situations, practice telephone conversations. You can even interview guests from the country where your target language is spoken, moderated by our instructors.
  • Eat lunch every day with a private instructor for a chance to use your new language outside of class.
  • Go on excursions with your teacher conducted in the foreign language—visit ethnic cafes, restaurants, and cultural centers, among other attractions.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities such as learning to dance salsa or tango with native dance instructors, watching foreign language movies, and attending concerts and other cultural events.
Typical Full-Immersion Day
Here’s a sample of a typical day of a BridgeLanguages Full-Immersion Program:
9:00 – 10:30:
A quick review of what you learned the previous day and then role-play a real-life situation in the language you are learning, based on a scene from one of BridgeLanguages’ in-class videos.
10:30 – 12:00:
Practice new vocabulary and verb tenses through conversation and entertaining exercises.
12:00 – 1:30:
Time for lunch at a nearby restaurant with your instructor, all in the foreign language.
1:30 – 3:30:
No, it’s not time for a nap! Grab a cup of coffee and watch a segment of the movie “Como Agua para Chocolate” (“Like Water for Chocolate”). Learn new vocabulary and discuss the cultural differences between the US and Mexico, as depicted in the film.
3:30 – 5:00:
A review of new material learned this morning and from yesterday’s classes. As an alternative, you may elect to take a short excursion with your teacher to put what you have been learning into use in real-life situations.
